Ironically I do believe that Willie, my dutch gelding, finds cows more tolerable than Woody, who was actually bred to work with them. Go figure.
I have a 1/2 Arabian/quarter horse who is also palomino, named Woody, does dressage and was bred to be a reining/working cow horse. Lucky for him he can TROT! He is also TERRIFIED of cows. Thank you for your comics because I can really relate!
I had a OTTB who--once she got over her initial fear of cattle--has this absurd habit of slowly herding them along with us wherever we were going if we were trail riding on free rein in their pasture. She was always full of delightful little oddities
