Really, with some horses, I’m more than glad they can’t talk. Though my illustration doesn’t accurately depict what the original saying really means (which is that one should be appreciative), I do feel that if you’re gifted a small, hairy beast that it is indeed sound advice to stay away from the business ends as there’s probably a reason he was a ‘gift.’
