Because life with horses is never orderly.
Fly Masks
If you force your horse to wear one of these with the eyes painted on it, or maybe even the one that you’re supposed to customize with your horse’s markings, then you are indeed asking for a revolt (or at the very least a timely toss into the fencing).
I may in fact be guilty of owning the “pink bunny nightmare” of a fly mask, however, I can say that I have never forced any of my horses to don the mask with the eyes painted on it. (Unlike SOME people I know…*cough, cough, Cyndi*). While I am unfazed by riding my geldings decked out in candyfloss pink gear, I can’t bring myself to foist those masks on them. If I did, I have little doubt Woody would dispose of it somewhere in the back 40 within the first 24 hours.
