Guest Comic: Day Off

8:30 IS an early day for me…
It seems to me that horse people have a unique view of time; i.e. there’s always time for things like mucking, clipping, and riding but never time for laundry, cooking, or purchasing non horsey apparel. Similarly if it’s less than 12 hours at the barn it’s a ‘short’ day. Couple that with the fact that I also run on ‘Morgane Time’ (which is like 2 to 4.5 hours ahead and/or behind whatever time zone I’m actually in) and the result is rather unsettling. It’s really quite impressive I ever found a guy who isn’t a jockey or gay given where I spend 99.9% of my time. 😉
