The Idea of Order

Happy Thanksgiving…

Because sometimes in life we finally see what’s actually important.
This year I find myself particularly moved by, and quite thankful for, the outpouring of love and support from across the United States for the victims of the Camp and Woosley Fires in Ca. I cannot begin to fathom the terror and heartbreak involved in those but I am deeply grateful to see people from all walks of life coming together to help one another. In a time where things seem so antagonistic and divisive, there’s comfort in seeing that sort of compassion. Please do keep the victims as well as those offering their support in your thoughts this holiday season; it’s a long road ahead but it will be a smoother one if we continue to help one another.

Here’s to a Fabulous 2018…

…one where I’m just as awful as I currently am.
I’ll likely still be that fabulously unorganized, perpetually late, horse-obsessed, perfectionist ball of utter chaos you’ve all come to know and love. πŸ˜‰ You’re welcome. And thank YOU all for your support and acceptance of my crazy. πŸ˜€ People say it’s not the destination, it’s the journey that matters. That seems especially true in the horse world. And so with that in mind, I hope you all enjoy each moment of the adventure to come in 2018.

Thanksgiving is over…

As if anyone actually waits these days anyhow…
If you’re like me, you were ready to get the tree and 87,000 lights up and going after dinner on Thanksgiving. πŸ˜‰ I refrained, though mostly out of sheer laziness rather than any sense of propriety. Now though, anything Christmas is fair game; even harassing your animals with those fun filled holiday photo shoots. πŸ˜€

Happy Thanksgiving….

I’m thankful also that you all continue to read this stuff…;)
Certainly this list is just the tip of the iceberg regarding things I’m thankful for, but it’s a start. πŸ™‚ I hope you all have a wonderful time this holiday season with your friends and family, two-legged and four.
