The Idea of Order

‘Fly’…’Annoying Small Predator’…Same thing.

…flies are actually LESS irritating than you, Human.
File this under the category of things I *know* my horse is doing on purpose just to be passive aggressively annoying (along with standing on the hose when I’m trying to bathe him and peeing on the new shavings right after I clean his stall). I’m fairly certain he does it to show his distaste for me ruining his afternoon nap, but I guess it could also be a statement on how he dislikes having his tail in a tail bag. Either way he usually gets smacked back with it. 😉

Small Predators are easily chilled…

At least this one is.
I feel like this is what my horse is saying to me every time I go to throw yet another blanket on him. Of course I’m fairly certain that nine times out of ten I blanket him according to how cold I feel instead of what’s likely more appropriate for a 1200lb hairball. This tendency is of course exacerbated by the fact that I’m from Florida (a land free of this Winter bogusness) and think anything below 70 is uncivilized.
