Winter Riding…

In unfortunate news, Winter is still hanging around for most of you.
In slightly better news, we are still in the no man’s land between Christmas and New Years so no one is really expecting much from us. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜… Feel free to stay buried under 14 blankets with your *adult hot chocolate.

If you are masochistic enough to venture out and try to ride, make good life choices (I’m looking at you all over in the UK who, from my lurking on the sh*teeventers page, apparently don’t know what lunging is. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜³). I say this with love of course.

Since it looks like a large portion of my wonderful equestrian community here already have, or will be getting blasted with sNOw over the holiday, I thought this week’s new comic could serve both as a reminder of the seasonal festivities AND some helpful advice. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚

Today the low is 65, which is admittedly not very ‘festive’ in the traditional holiday sense, but given my deeply rooted hatred of sNOw, I’ll take it!

Desperation?
Winter seems to bring out all sorts of things in people…some are excited by the clean, freshness that seems to come with newly fallen snow. These people are joyous at what they perceive to be new beginnings and boundless possibilities. I am not those people. Winter brings out nothing but acute desperation, irritability, and the continual threat to move back to Florida. πŸ˜€
